SERA Early Career Faculty Mentoring Initiative

SERA has initiated a trial Mentoring Program for Early Career Faculty. This program links early career faculty with peer or senior faculty mentors to provide a regionally driven network to support early career faculty with promotion and tenure, research/publications, and grant development. Please join us on Facebook, SERA Mentor, or LinkedIn, SERA Mentor. Once you join the group, post an introduction that contains the following: Institution Affiliation, Title, and mentor/mentee designation, Research Area(s). SERA Research Grants

SERA is dedicated to furthering the advancement of graduate student and junior faculty educational research.  Two competitive Research Grants for up to $1000 for 1-year projects will be awarded annually at the annual Conference to a doctoral student and assistant professor at a 4-year institution. Grant proposals are due May 1st, following the annual conference. Grant awardees will be notified by June 1st. Awardees will present at the next annual conference.
